Korn was formed in 1993 with a combination of 2 bands sexart and LAPD. well one night the boys of LAPD went to a bar that sexart was playing at. And according to munky "We were getting ready to leave and just as we were getting ready to walk out the door. Jon was the singer in the band and we heard him sing me and brian both looked at eachother and our jaws dropped. And so we turned around and went back in and watched the whole set." Soon after that they asked jon to join the band. He wasn't sure what to do so he went to a psychic and she told him he would be stupid if he didn't join the band. And the rest is,well history. PERSONAL BIOS jon davis was born on 1/18/71 and grew up in california. when he was in high school he was really into drama, music and wore eyeliner and nailpolish. The jocks at school made fun of him and called him A fagget. Now he has the nickname and the tatoo HIV to say f-you to all the people who made fun of him in high school. Now he lives in huntington beach California with his son nathan. James"monkey"Shaffer started playing the guitar because he had cut off his finger in a bike accident. And his doctor encouraged him to take up an instrement to help his finger heal. he was dubed munkey because of his ability to spred his toes to make them look like a monkey's paw. feildy got his namebecause as he says" when i was little i had these f*cking chipmunc cheekes so they called me gopher, then it became gar,then they started calling me garfeild then it became feildy. brian "head"welch got his nickname because according to him" i have a big head". brian and munkey went to the same school were head showed munkey how to play a few songs.
